Slow Feeder Hay Net
Highly resistant fine mesh hay net that slows down hay consumption. Knotless and made of very strong polypropylene for durability. Its fine mesh reduces hay loss and keeps the stable or trailer cleaner.
Comes with 7 meters of very strong hanging rope (over 1000 kg tensile strength).
Why use a slow feeder net? In its natural state, a horse spends about twice as much time feeding as it does in the stall. Its digestive system is adapted to the constant ingestion of small amounts of forage. A slow feeder encourages it to eat more slowly, thus replicating a more natural feeding behavior, which causes less stress than rationing.
