Bovi Laxi is composed of sodium sulfate, a bitter-tasting salt, and calamus root, which disguises this bitter taste. Sodium sulfate is not absorbed by the intestines, thereby increasing the osmotic value in the intestines. This causes the absorption of moisture from the intestines to be lowered and instead moisture is drawn through the intestines. Therefore, make sure the animal always has plenty of fresh drinking water available. The osmotic process increases the volume in the intestines, which is an incentive for the animal to defecate. Faeces will start to form after about 24 hours.
Feed instructions
Once-off:
Catlle: 1 sachet to 3 liters of water.
Horse (warmblood): 1 sachet to 3 liters of water.
Horse (coldblood): 2 sachets on 6 liters of water.
Pony: ½ sachet to 1.5 liters of water.
To prevent clumping, dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 3 liters of warm water. Administer the solution orally through a suitable bottle or tube.
Do not administer in case of intestinal distension or stomach overload (horse).
