Dog Comets Neutron Star Squeaky Tennis Ball
Dog Comets Neutron Star Squeaky Tennis Ball
Couldn't load pickup availability
The Neutron Star is a tennis ball equipped with a squeaker. The sound is triggered with each compression: it attracts the dog's attention, helps it locate the ball in tall grass, and maintains its desire to retrieve.
Its bright colors are not merely decorative. Dogs have difficulty distinguishing red and green, but perceive blue and yellow very well — hence the appeal of vibrant shades against a lawn backdrop.

How to choose
The ball must be large enough so it never gets behind the fangs: if in doubt between two sizes, always choose the larger one.
Use under supervision. Remove the ball as soon as it is damaged or split.
Good to know
The felt on tennis balls is slightly abrasive. A dog that chews the same ball for hours can prematurely wear down its tooth enamel. The ball is meant to be thrown and retrieved, not to serve as a permanent chew toy.
Trufféo's Advice
The pack is not just about saving money: having a second ball in your pocket solves the problem of a dog that retrieves but won't let go. You show the second ball, they drop the first one to get it, and the retrieve continues without a struggle. This is the simplest method for teaching a clean "drop it."
